We all know the famous slogan for Nike commercials “JUST DO IT”
The GO InterNational missions team to Yurimaguas, Peru March 5-13, 08 was a golden opportunity to just do what God has commanded us to do – demonstrate His Love to people in need.
Through medical and dental attention, eye glasses clinic, VBS to children, leadership training and evening evangelism services God’s love was on display and praise God many came to know Him!
One our greatest joys was giving over five hundred Bibles to fellow Christian leaders. We were expecting fourteen churches to be represented at the leadership conference but word spread throughout the region and over ninety five leaders came together for the two day event. Mr. Bob Willis from the Greystone UMC in Dothan, Alabama presented the Bibles which the leaders in Peru eagerly received.
Missions can be exciting, come join us and discover the joy of just doing it!!
